Day 10 ~ A photo taken over ten years ago of you

Alternatively titled "Blast from the Past!"

OK this one is/ was hard to find since we went digital about four years ago and our computer died since then even. I've had to search some old photos.... and scan them into the computer LOL

I am laughing right now because going through some of these old pictures was hilarious! and there are some that... phew... lets just say that some people in my life will be glad I took some discretion in choosing which pictures to post (Beck, do you remember grandma's tub with me and Rachel? Hahaha), and then there was some hair that I had that... phew, lets just say that I DEFINE frizz!!

But come, take a walk down memory lane with me....

My dad took me on a cross country tour summer of '93 (that's what is printed on the back)... some of these were too funny and my hair stood out about a mile. LOL


My great 'sis' that I convinced to come with me on a trip to NJ summer of ?94. You were such a great sport Beck! This is on the ferry around the Statue of Liberty


We did some of the craziest things! This was the night 'we' slept under the leaves that we had raked that day. LOL (Beck I also have one of you rafting down the rio de Flag LOL)

Day 9 ~ A photo you took

So since I love taking photos I am going to use this opportunity to update with some pictures of the girls... yes I took them :)

a tradition that I forgot to do last year... taking a picture of the girls in my wedding dress on our anniversary

I am continually amazed at how big they are getting

Our bed is invaded most mornings

though she is sleeping more in her crib (and the mommy is thankful!)

And one of Faith and Megan sleeping (just to even things out :) )

I think Megan invaded Faith... this was before they decided to switch bunks LOL

Day 8 ~ a photo that makes you angry/sad

The photo that makes me really sad (especially right around this time of the year) is one that I have posted on this blog before. I contemplated actually posting it here again... but it is a rather ... for lack of a better word... sad photo.......

It is the photo that the kind people in the ER took of our dear sweet baby girl that left this earth at 15 weeks gestation on 8-6-08.

It's not the best of pictures, or what you would think a baby should look like... it's bloody, it's bodily fluid-y, it's an underdeveloped child, it shows her cystic hygroma (for an explanation see here, and here).

SO what I have decided to do is link to the post that I put the picture in before, the one written on her due date, January 27, 2009. The picture I refer to is the third one down.

Day 7 ~ A photo that makes you happy

So, since I love taking pictures.... there are many many photos that make me happy, and favorite photos change about as fast as the kids do!
